Looks like Mr. Mosley and Jigga are back up to their old tricks again. Seeing that Jay didn’t make Shock Value and Timbo didn’t make American Gangster, you can only imagine whatever they’re gonna cook up is gonna be epic.

Just a heads up that Mika over at theneptunes.org posted up the Timbaland/ Neptunes produced “Madonna – Hard Candy” Sampler containing snippets of the album.
I’m definitely interested in this album now, there are some tracks with real potential.

Just finished listening to the new Ashlee Simpson album (I know a lot of you find that weird).
I definitely enjoyed it I mean as far as production goes Kenna, Chad and Timbaland are all perfect for her. Both Timbaland and Chad have managed to switch up their sound a little and produce something a little different from their usual sort of stuff. In some ways this was a little bad though as the vocals didn’t match up to the beats in terms of quality in places.
The stand out track for me is definitely “Hot Stuff”. The guitars in the beat really make it stand, and Chad and Kenna did a really great job of it.
Check out Hot Stuff here, you probly won’t regret it:

A few days ago, the world of music took a big hit with the death of Static. Timbaland fans all over the world know just how much Static had to do with some of his biggest hits, and that’s only the half of it. The set that is the TCC did an amazing job of paying homage to Mr. Major. Pay attention to a) the list of people he worked with and b) the stats of his efforts. Crazy numbers, indeed.
RIP Static Major
Me and Ro used to trip over this. There’s a video floating around of Timbaland playing this at a party, like right before Shock Value dropped. I’m thinking this was supposed to be his contribution, but they didn’t make it in time. Nevertheless, effortless illness from the GOAT. Or the camel for you Jay-haters. Oh and sorry for Clue’s vocal molestation.
Lowkey came the f*ck thru.
EDIT: There is no Blueprint 3.

Wow, hottest girls out right now, almost had an “accident” watching the video, and its a good thing Timbo doesn’t pop up too much in the video.

On the set of the new video for Tim’s next single “Scream”, rather than going for a sexual video like the song suggests, Tim has gone for a robbery/heist style video, with the “scream” being the adrenaline rush of the robbery. Kerri describes it as a Thomas Crown Affair/Oceans 11 style video. The girls look hot, sounds like a good concept and all in all the video looks good.

With pictures from the imminent release of Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton Jewellery line leaking, we ask the question where has the old Pharrell gone?
Where’s the humble guy who would respond to comments about sales like this:
Timbaland professed to have a simple, unassailable philosophy. ”My thing is ‘Who sold the most records?’ ” he said. ”That’s my friendly competition.” And who sold the most records? ”Me. That’s without a doubt. If you look at the charts, one year, I broke three artists, back to back, and they all sold at least 900,000 copies. Petey Pablo sold 900,000, ‘Raise Up’ was an anthem, and they still play it in the armies and over in Kuwait.”
When I told him Timbaland’s theories, Williams shook his head vigorously. ”No way,” he said. ”That’s cancerous to my spirit. Knowing how many times a song got played on the radio? No. I’d much rather be in the studio, listening to a Burt Bacharach record, listening to chord progressions, studying them and teaching myself to go somewhere else. I want to pull energy from other worlds into my music. Life, love, science, religion, history, that’s what I want to pull into my music. Let’s face it — you make a certain amount of money, and after that, no matter how much money you make, it all feels the same. The only real true joy that is new to me every day is discovering music. I don’t know how Tim thinks about sales and then goes and makes a beat. That ain’t my world. Tim’s a genius, though.”
That’s the Pharrell we know and love not the new one tryna whore himself out to all kinds of creative avenues, just remember what you said P,
Williams, though, is leery of the hype. ”The Neptunes are not the answer to everything at all,” he told me. ”Some people treat us like that, and that’s wrong. They’re just going off of the charts, not the music. They make statements like: ‘What’s in the water down there? The Neptunes and Timbaland!’ We’re not Michael Jordan, and we don’t think we are. We still look at ourselves as rookies trying to get drafted.”
That was a few years ago, and now that he’s back in the studio with Chad I hope and pray the old musical mind-set will come back, we need more creativity in the music!
