According to amazon.com a source which isn’t always the best, Kanye’s new album will be titled “808’s & Heartbreak”, and will drop around December 16th.
Hopefully that’s right.
The title’s right. The date’s right. Funny thing is that I was just getting ready to post this.
My preconceived notion: With the loss of his Mom and the breaking up with Alexis, the album will be dedicated to love/the lack of/the loss of love. Music history has forever taught us that love/the lack of/the loss of love can make for some incredible music. FYI, the $port Report- Episode 2 pretty much stems from my own personal views, wants, successes, and missteps in the game. I’m expecting the exact same thing from Ye…times 80 million. – $

This seems to be the only version on youtube which hasn’t been removed so sorry for the dodgy quality.
I’m not 100% sure how I feel about this yet, but it does sound pretty dope. If you compare things on a timeline with “Can’t Tell me Nothin’” being the first thing we heard off of Graduation I’d have to say I prefer that to Love Lockdown.

New Kanye. An album. This December. Hell yeah.
If you’ve followed WMF from its inception, then you know we provided the most in-depth coverage of everything surrounding Graduation. So, expect nothing less this trip.
From here, it looks like the first single, ‘Love LockDown’ will be hitting airwaves any minute. And when it does, you know who’ll have it.
It also looks as if they’re gonna let Ye shut down the MTV VMAs this Sunday (@ 9pm ET, chump.) Word on the street is that he’ll most likely perform the new single. It’s gonna be ill, whether you like it or not. I’m pretty amped to see just what direction he’s heading in. After Graduation, it’s no telling what we’ll get.
And I’m good with that.
