Ghetts is in there, no.2 too, so I’m happy, no Kano though? And Lethal B is? But like he said, its his list ours is up to us.
Dude gets B for marketing skills, he has done something along the lines of 50 Cent’s How To Rob and basically called out a lot of the UK MCs inadvertently and has thus caused enough buzz for me to put him onto the mighty WMF. If it wasn’t a blatant cry for attention he might have gotten an A, but then again what song isn’t.
This is probably the best video in Grime this year, simply because its not just a video, its a mini movie.
Bashy is doing a lot this year, as are the Movement man dem, I’m not always feeling Bashy’s songs but you can’t deny that he is talented, although, like Wretch and Scorcher you can class him as more UK Hip Hop than Grime, Wretch did murk a Grime set off with Ghetts the other day though.
I posted this a bit late but fuck it, you got it in the end.
Durrty Goodz recently called Wiley out on Logan Sama’s show so Wiley responded with the Garden Gnome freestyle (below). He called it that because he was spitting so intensely that he turned green and looked like a garden gnome, if you don’t believe me the picture’s up there /|\.
This week I’ve decided to let you get the songs for multiple listens via your portable music players. So get your copy here!
The next two songs are a few more freestyles from Wiley, who really has ethered 2008 musically, it has been his most successful year to date and you can clearly see him exceeding himself in 2009.
Lol, some funny lyrics in here, a comedy remix of Bashy’s Black Boys, which is a positive song meant to inspire the youth in London and was released during Black History Month in the UK (October), check it out below.
