Funny thing about the vocoder is, its recently popped up in Grime, EVEN GHETTO USED IT!

No offence, but I think the vocoder game needs to die. It was fresh to a point when it was introduced by Roger Troutman, and Teddy Riley and re-introduced and popularised by main suspect T-pain, but afterwards we had everyone trying to spit on the vocoder/autotune mic.
The suspects: Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Yung Berg, Snoop Dogg but he's excused cuz that was a concept for the song, and now 50 cent?! I'm surprised Diddy hasn't used it by now but my case is that hip hop is running out of ideas and seriously becoming stale with these mainstream actions example the "bling bling" phase.
I think the only only thing that can save hip hop right now is independent minds underground and unsigned alike, the architects, grime, and genre blends. Besides that long live hip hop!!
